Indication

For skin diseases (e.g. acne), migraine due to indigestion, loss of appetite, digestive difficulties, diabetes, haemorrhoids, intestinal cramps; excellent blood purifier for spring and autumn

Directions

Pour 250 ml of hot (80°) water over 2 teaspoons, cover and let steep for 20 minutes. Strain the tea and drink 1 cup 3 times a day. Cure over 6-8 weeks.

The dandelion belongs to the daisy family and thus to the same plant family as the marigold, the sunflower, the aster or the daisy. What is considered an annoying weed in many gardens is in fact a real all-rounder among natural remedies, which was already popularly used in ancient times for various ailments.

Use and dosage of dandelion

Dandelion can be used both internally and externally. This depends on the purpose for which you want to use the plant. A dandelion tea, a dandelion decoction or a dandelion tincture has proven to be particularly easy to use.

To prepare a dandelion tea, take one teaspoon of dried dandelion leaves to 250 ml of cold water. Boil this mixture briefly, cover it and let it steep for ten minutes. Then strain the finished dandelion tea. We recommend that you drink three cups a day, spread over the course of the day.
