Artemisia absinthium L., cut herb, certified organic

Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) is a perennial aromatic plant in the daisy family (Asteraceae). It can grow to a height of 1.5 metres and has impressively silvery-grey, finely haired leaves that give off an intense aroma. From July to September, numerous small yellow flower heads adorn the delicate panicles, giving the plant its characteristic charm.

Indications

Loss of appetite and digestive problems

How to use

As a tea: 1 teaspoon per cup of hot water (80°C), steep for 2-5 minutes and then strain.

To make a wormwood tincture, plant parts are covered with double-distilled corn schnapps or alcohol in a screw-top jar and left for 2-6 weeks.

Store the strained tincture in a dark bottle. Take 10-50 drops diluted in water one to three times a day.

Do not take for longer than 6 weeks.

Habe das Produkt als Tee gekauft, es sind insgesamt zu viele Stiele enthalten, der Geschmack ist viel strenger als bei meinen getrockneten Blättern. Die Herbathek verweist darauf, dass primär die Bitterstoffe im Produkt wichtig sind.
