Application
Among the indigenous fruits, the rose hip has the highest ascorbic acid content with about 500 mg/100g. Its pulp has 20 times more vitamin C than lemons. Its fruits are rich in provitamin A and B vitamins. Furthermore, they contain many important minerals as well as the trace elements zinc and copper (the absorption of copper into the body is significantly increased by the presence of vitamin C!). 2 heaped teaspoons of crushed rose hips are poured over 1/4l water, heated to boiling and boiled for 10min. Optionally, you can also pour boiling water over them and then let them steep for 15min. Unlike other teas, the vitamin content of rosehip tea is preserved for several hours.
