Essential oils

Essential oils nourish the skin and senses. Experience the soothing and holistic effects of aromatherapy on your well-being – balancing the mind and stimulating the body's defences.

We offer a wide selection of essential oils for a variety of applications and uses. Whether ready-made fragrance blends or high-quality individual oils – in our shop, both beginners and professionals in aromatherapy will find everything their hearts desire. We pay particular attention to the quality of our products. For this reason, most of the products we carry are 100% natural essential oils.

How Do Essential Oils Work?

As part of aromatherapy, essential oils not only help to relieve physical ailments – they also have a soothing effect on the mind and soul. This is mainly due to the fragrance of these highly concentrated oils: we absorb their scent molecules through the nose, which then travel via the olfactory mucosa directly to our central nervous system.

The range of effects of essential oils is incredibly diverse. High-quality oils such as lavender, clove, or sage have antibiotic and disinfectant properties, for example. Cumin, marjoram, or cinnamon oil can have a positive effect on the digestive system. If you're looking for relaxation, rosemary, pine needle, or nutmeg oil are ideal. The right essential oils can also work wonders for fighting colds or reducing the appearance of wrinkles.

Ways to Use Essential Oils

Depending on the purpose and desired effect, essential oils can be used in many different ways. The most common applications include:

  • In fragrance lamps or aromatherapy diffusers

  • For inhalation

  • During massage or skin care

  • As a balm applied to the skin

  • In sauna infusions

  • As bath additives

  • In mouth rinses

  • Applied directly to the skin in diluted form

  • Internal use by ingestion (only under professional guidance)

Important: Always ensure that essential oils do not come into direct contact with the skin or mucous membranes in their pure form. They can be highly irritating and should always be diluted before use.

Tips for Storing and Preserving Essential Oils

Essential oils are very sensitive to light. To enjoy your oils for as long as possible, we recommend storing them in a dark place – such as a drawer or cupboard. Also avoid exposing the bottles to temperature fluctuations (for instance, in the bathroom), as these can affect both the quality and shelf life of the oils.
