Organic lavender sage (low ketone), steam distillation of the herb, France.

Lavender sage (Salvia lavandulifolia) or small-leaved sage belongs to the labiates family and is obtained by steam distillation of the flowering herb. Its fragrance is fresh, herbaceous and slightly camphor-like. Lavender sage differs from the true garden sage (Salvia officinalis) mainly in its much lower ketone content, which is why we offer it as a wonderful, gentler alternative to true sage. The essential oil of lavender sage has strengthening, stimulating and concentration-enhancing properties and is good for stress and exhaustion. In the cold season, this oil can also be used as an air purifier to prevent winter complaints in a fragrance lamp / aroma nebuliser. In addition, the expectorant properties of this oil are appreciated. Due to its ingredients, however, lavender sage is not suitable for children under 6 years of age. This oil should also be avoided during pregnancy as well as in cases of epilepsy.
