Kurkuma, dunkelorange, granuliert, aus kontrolliert biologischer Anbau

Kurkuma, botanisch Curcuma longa, stammt aus Südasien, insbesondere aus Ländern wie Indien, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh und Myanmar sowie aus andere tropischen Regionen wie Madagassgar. Die Pflanze wächst am besten in warmen, feuchten Klimazonen und wird wegen ihres rhizomartigen Wurzelstocks angebaut, der als Kurkumawurzel bekannt ist.
