Plantago afra (or ovata), whole shells of the seeds, controlled organic cultivation.


Indication

Good for the intestines, laxative, softens stools, for (constantly recurring) constipation, mild diarrhoea, haemorrhoids; diseases that require easier emptying of the bowels with soft stools, e.g. anal fissures (painful tears in the folds of the anal mucosa).

Use

Soak 1 teaspoon of psyllium husks in 1 glass of water for 10-15 minutes to form a pulpy mass. Drink on an empty stomach up to 3 times a day and rinse with plenty of water.
