Bergamot mint is a perennial plant from the Lamiaceae family with a refreshing, lemony-orange fragrance.
Bergamot (Citrus bergamia) probably originated in South East Asia, but was first cultivated on a large scale in Calabria, southern Italy, in the 18th century. It probably originated as a cross between the bitter orange and another citrus species. In the 19th century, the bergamot gained worldwide fame, particularly through its use in Earl Grey tea. Today, the fruit is mainly cultivated in southern Italy and other Mediterranean countries.

Use
as a flavouring & tea - add 1-2 teaspoons to 250 ml of hot water (80°C), leave to infuse for 5-10 minutes and strain.

Tolle Qualität
Auf der Suche nach Kräutern für den Vaporizer bin ich glücklicherweise auf die Herbathek gestoßen. Da gerade bei der Inhalation die Qualität stimmen muss, werde ich wohl noch öfter bestellen. _x000D_ Zum Produkt: die Minze ist sehr aromatisch und wechselt bei der Inhalation langsam den Geschmack. Anfangs fruchtig kommt später eher der minzige Anteil in den Vordergrund.
