Horseradish root (Armoracia rusticana) belongs to the cruciferous family (Brassicaceae) and is a perennial herbaceous plant. It forms a long, fleshy taproot that is light brown on the outside and white on the inside. The plant has large, lance-shaped leaves and small, white flowers that are arranged in bunches.

Indications

Can be used to support the body in the case of infections of the upper respiratory tract, urinary tract, relieves headaches, stimulates circulation, promotes blood flow

Use

approx. 1 tablespoon per 1 litre of water, leave to steep for 10 minutes and strain, drink while still warm if possible, popular kitchen herb (table horseradish), in sauces, dips, externally as compresses or poultices
