The manna ash is a medium-sized deciduous tree from the olive tree family (Oleaceae) and originally comes from the Mediterranean region. It is characterised by its feathery leaves and fragrant white flowers, which appear in dense panicles in late spring. By carefully scratching the bark, a sweet plant juice is released - the so-called manna, which is used as a white, ground powder after drying.

Indication

For constipation (has a laxative effect), for all illnesses where an easier bowel movement is desired (e.g. haemorrhoids)

Application

Daily dose: for adults 20-30 g drug, for children 2-16 g drug, to be taken orally
