Guarana seeds come from an evergreen climbing shrub from the Amazon region belonging to the soapberry family (Sapindaceae). The pea-sized, chestnut to dark brown seeds are contained in bright red fruit capsules. After harvesting, they are shelled and gently dried.

Indication

High caffeine content (guaranine), stimulates the nervous system, increases concentration, endurance and performance, has a gentler but longer-lasting effect than coffee.

Application

1-2 g in warm water, juice, smoothie, for smoking, maximum daily dose of 3 g.
