3 factors are decisive:

• The plants on Coesam's plantations in southern Chile all come from a particularly high-yielding genetic variant of the rosehip plant Rosa canina L. (AP4)
• The special climate in southern Chile with many sunny days and cool nights.
• The fruits are harvested by hand at their optimal ripening point. After harvesting, a very gentle drying process takes place to preserve the heat-sensitive active ingredients of the rosehip. Subsequently, the fruit peels and the seeds are freed from the irritating hairs and ground into powder.

Application
