Peppermint is a vigorous, perennial plant from the Lamiaceae family. Its leaves are lanceolate to ovate, with sharp teeth at the edges and a deep, vibrant green color that shines on the upper side, while the underside has a bluish-green sheen. The distinctive aroma, which is mainly caused by the essential oil menthol, gives the leaves their unmistakable freshness and intensity.
The fine cut allows for particularly quick and intense aroma extraction, as the finely cut leaves offer more surface area to the hot water. This results in a strong, fresh mint flavor that comes into its own after only a short steeping time. At the same time, the fine cut ensures consistent quality per cup and a pleasantly intense aroma.
Als Aufguss 2-3 g Tee (= 1 Teelöffel), mit 80°C heißem Waser übergießen, 10-15 Minuten abgedeckt ziehen lassen, abgießen, 3 Tassen pro Tag, am besten nach der Mahlzeiten trinken.
