Ulmus campestris L., cut bark, from organic cultivation
Ulmus minor or the field elm is a stately deciduous tree from the elm family. It has asymmetrical, double-sawed leaves and develops grey-brown, cracked bark with age. The field elm is native to Europe and prefers to grow in nutrient-rich, moist locations such as riparian forests and hedgerows.
Indication
Anti-inflammatory, especially in the mouth and throat and for gastritis
Application
Tea: Pour 1 cup of cold water over 1-2 teaspoons, bring to the boil, strain and drink in small sips, gargle or rinse.
For a tincture, elm bark is poured into a screw-top jar with double grain and left to stand for 2 to 6 weeks. Strain and fill into dark bottles. Take 1 to 3 x 10 - 50 drops daily.
Tee: 1-2 Teelöffel mit 1 Tasse kaltem Wasser übergießen, zum Kochen bringen, abseihen und schluckweise trinken (Gurgeln oder Spülen).
Für eine Tinktur wird die Ulmenrinde in ein Schraubglas gefüllt, mit Doppelkorn übergossen und 2-6 Wochen stehen gelassen.
Absieben und in dunkle Flaschen abfüllen. 1-3x täglich 10 - 50 Tropfen einnehmen.
