    aphrodisiac, appetite stimulant, for flatulence, detoxifying, purifying, diuretic, heart and stomach tonic, menstrual stimulant, tonic, for stress, migraine, white discharge. Because of its aromatic essential oils, reminiscent of fennel and lovage, bear root is also used in cooking.

    Application
    Pour 150 ml of hot water (80°C) over 2 teaspoons of the cut bear root, then let it steep for 10-15 minutes. Up to 3 cups a day are recommended.



    2 Teelöffel mit 150 ml heißem Wasser (80°C) übergießen, anschließend 10-15min ziehen lassen, bis zu 3 Tassen täglich werden empfohlen. Wegen der aromatischen ätherischen Öle, die an Fenchel und Liebstöckel erinnern, wird die Bärwurz auch in der Küche verarbeitet. Ein wichtiger Bestandteil des Bärwurz-Birnhonigs, dem wohl berühmtesten Rezepts der heiligen Hildegard.
