Astragalus membranaceus Bunge, ground root, from conventional cultivation

Astragalus root, also known as Astragalus, is a plant belonging to the legume family (Fabaceae).

It has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries.
The plant is robust and grows in temperate climates, mainly in Asia, Europe and North America.

Indication

For fatigue, weakness, night sweats, tonic effect on the spleen and lungs, widely used in TCM

Application

Slowly bring 2 teaspoons in 250 ml of hot water (80°C) to the boil and leave to steep for 5-10 minutes.
Drink 3 cups per day in small sips.

Aufguß für die innere Anwendung: 2-3 Teelöffel mit einer Tasse kochendem Wasser übergießen, 5 min ziehen lassen. 3 Tassen täglich.

Innerlich bei Erkältung, Entzündungen der oberen Atemwege und gestörtem Schlaf. Äußerliche Anwendung bei trockener Vaginalschleimhaut, Krampfadern, Fieber, Brandwunden und Gicht.
