History:
Aronia, also known as chokeberry, is a small berry that can easily be confused with a blueberry in appearance. Aronia originally comes from North America, where it was eaten as fruit by the indigenous people, mainly as a winter supply. At the beginning of the 20th century, the aronia was officially declared a fruit and introduced and cultivated in Russia. From there, cultivation gradually spread throughout Eastern Europe until it finally found its way to Germany. The aronia is cultivated and marketed as a fruit, especially in the eastern federal states, particularly Saxony. The healing powers of the aronia berry have only been recognized in Central Europe in recent years.

Leckeres Beerlein
Ich möchte früher aronia nicht so sehr. Diese Beeren sind aber gerade jetzt im Herbst eine Wohltat, eingeweicht im Müsli morgens sehr lecker. Auch für meine 4 Beiner kommen sie vorher in den mixer und werden unter das gekochte abgekühlte Futter gemischt. Sehr vielseitige Anwendung.
