Epsom salt or magnesium sulphate softens the intestinal contents and increases the intestinal volume. This leads to a stretching stimulation of the intestinal wall and promotes bowel emptying.
The active ingredient also serves to compensate for magnesium deficiency.
Tip: The bitter taste can be softened with lemon or orange juice.
