The little Swedish bitters according to Maria Treben is a traditional herbal tincture with a long history, which was made popular again by the Austrian herbal expert in her book "Gesundheit aus der Apotheke Gottes" (Health from God's Pharmacy). Traditionally used externally and internally, usually diluted with water or as a poultice. Maria Treben saw Swedish bitters as a kind of ‘panacea’ that could help to revitalise the life forces.

Angelica root, natural camphor, manna, rhubarb root, senna leaves, wormwood, theriac, citrus root, boar's root, myrrh resin, saffron
CAUTION WARNING about camphor: flammable solid (H228) causes skin and serious eye irritation (H315 and H319) may cause respiratory irritation(H335)
