The dog rose is a deciduous, thorny shrub with pinnate leaves and five-petaled, pink to whitish flowers. It produces bright red, egg-shaped pseudo-fruits (rose hips) that contain many small nuts. The plant prefers to grow on forest edges, hedges, and embankments in the temperate climates of Europe and Western Asia. Among native fruits, rose hips are one of the leaders in terms of vitamin C content: with around 500 mg of ascorbic acid per 100 g, they far exceed even citrus fruits – their pulp contains up to 20 times more vitamin C than lemons. Rose hips are also rich in provitamin A, various B vitamins, and valuable minerals. Particularly noteworthy is their content of the trace elements zinc and copper—with the absorption of copper in the body being significantly improved by the vitamin C they contain.

Hagebuttentee hab ich nie gerne getrunken, da er fad geschmeckt hat. Dieser Tee ist richtig lecker. Ein Genuss.

Teemischung
ist für eine Teemischung und kann ich darum nur bedingt bewerten - riecht aber gut, sieht frisch aus - und das wichtigste für eine gesunde Teemischung - BIO!
