Tabebuia avellanedeae, cut bark, from wild collection
Lapacho bark comes from the tree Tabebuia impetiginosa, also known as Pau d'Arco, which belongs to the Bignoniaceae family. Originally native to the tropical regions of South America, the tree is characterised by its distinctive, grey-brown bark, which flakes off in long strips. This bark contains a large number of bioactive compounds, in particular naphthoquinones, and is valued in traditional herbal medicine.

To strengthen the body's defences, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antioxidant
Application
2 teaspoons per 1 litre of water, boil for 5 minutes (at least 80°C) and then leave to infuse for 15 minutes, drink 1 litre per day in small amounts throughout the day, take a course of treatment for a maximum of 6 weeks, then take a 4-week break.

Gesund und lecker
Dauert in der Zubereitung zwar, aber es lohnt sich. Ich mehr den Tee. Er schmeckt der ganzen Familie.
