CitroPlus® is produced from certified organically grown fruit (certified according to the EC Organic Regulation) and is standardised to the proportion of valuable bioflavonoids from grapefruit.
The active ingredient is so-called bioflavonoids, which are secondary plant substances. Bioflavonoids are relatively large plant molecules that occur in above-ground plant parts. They are especially found in the seeds and peels of fruits and vegetables, i.e. in the parts that we mostly remove.
Like vitamins, flavonoids are involved in numerous metabolic processes in the body and should be consumed in sufficient quantities as protective substances.
