CitroPlus® is produced from certified organic fruits and is standardised to the amount of valuable bioflavonoids from grapefruit.This amounts to 600mg / 100ml and is thus the highest bioflavonoid content currently available on the market. The grapefruit seed extract is obtained from the seeds and part of the peel of grapefruits from organic cultivation and is dissolved in glycerine and a little water and is alcohol-free. The active ingredient is so-called bioflavonoids, which are secondary plant substances.Bioflavonoids are relatively large plant molecules that occur in above-ground plant parts. They are especially found in the seeds and peels of fruits and vegetables, i.e. in the parts that we mostly remove.
Like vitamins, flavonoids are involved in numerous metabolic processes in the body and should be consumed in sufficient quantities as protective substances.
