Pitahaya, pieces, freeze-dried, from conventional cultivation

The dragon fruit comes from climbing cacti of the genus Hylocereus and belongs to the cactus family (Cactaceae). The plant forms large, white-flowered night flowers and bears oval, scale-like fruits with pink or yellow skin and a black seed centre. Depending on the species, the flesh varies in colour from white to red or purple.

Approx. 7kg of fresh dragon fruit is equivalent to 1kg of freeze-dried fruit.

Application

directly as a pure snack, in smoothies and shakes, for muesli and desserts, in baked goods

Aufguß für die innere Anwendung: 2-3 Teelöffel mit einer Tasse kochendem Wasser übergießen, 5 min ziehen lassen. 3 Tassen täglich.
Innerlich bei Erkältung, Entzündungen der oberen Atemwege und gestörtem Schlaf. Äußerliche Anwendung bei trockener Vaginalschleimhaut, Krampfadern, Fieber, Brandwunden und Gicht.
