Petroselinum crispum, rubbed 1-2 mm, from certified organic cultivation

Parsley leaves from the umbellifer family (Apiaceae) is a biennial, herbaceous plant with a deep-reaching taproot. It grows up to 90 cm high and has three to several times pinnate leaves, which are smooth or curly depending on the variety. In the second year, it develops hollow, grooved stems and yellowish-green umbels. Its small, ribbed schizocarps contain aromatic essential oils.

Indications:

rich in minerals and vitamins.

Uses:

fresh, spicy flavour for that certain something, for soups, sauces, meat and vegetable dishes.
