Mullein flowers (Verbascum) are striking yellow or sometimes white flowers that grow in long, racemose inflorescences. The flowers have five round, asymmetrical petals and a characteristic arrangement of the stamens, which results in a striking appearance. These plants are common in Europe and Asia and prefer sunny, dry locations.
Indications
Diarrhoea, cramps, chronic cough, coughing irritation, promotes expectoration
How to use
Add 2 teaspoons to approx. 150ml of boiling water and leave to stand for 10-15 minutes, then strain.
