    Zubereitung des Basilienkraut-Tees (Volksname: Basilikum): 1-2 gehäufte Teelöffel Basilienkraut mit 1/4l heißem Wasser (80°C) übergießen, 10-15min ziehen lassen, anschließend abseihen und bei Bedarf 1 Tasse ungesüßt trinken.Wer kurzmäßig Magen und Darm (besonders bei chronischen Blähungen) damit behanden will, soll 8 Tage lang 2 Tassen täglich trinken. Danach eine Pause von 14 Tagen einlegen und anschließend noch einmal 8 Tage lang den Basilienkraut-Tee trinken.
