Agaricus blazei Murrill (ABM), also called almond mushroom, is originally from Brazil and is also a tasty edible mushroom. It has a young history as the only vital mushroom. Only for about 35 years the mushroom has been taken note of by science. Since then, it has been intensively researched. Its cultivation has also increased by leaps and bounds after its interesting active ingredients became known. ABM contains the highest polysaccharide content of all known vital mushrooms, especially beta-D-glucan!
