All Alvito filter inserts are very efficient products. The most important difference is the flow rate depending on the tap pressure. For small households, we recommend the ABF-Primus-SD filter insert (this corresponds in design and performance to the Carbonit NFP Premium filter insert).

If you value faster water filtration or if more than two people live in your household, we recommend the ABF Duplex or the ABF Twin filter insert.

If there are elevated lead or copper levels in the water, the ABF-Primus-SD (~Carbonit NFP Premium) and ABF-Duplex (~Carbonit IFP Puro) filter inserts are particularly suitable. The extraordinary filter fineness and the high flow rate of the ABF-Duplex and the ABF-Twin filter inserts are based on the combination of an activated carbon block element with special capillary membranes. In the ABF-Duplex, the capillary membranes are located inside the activated carbon block, in the ABF-Twin (~Carbonit NFP Clario) the capillary membranes are located behind the activated carbon block.

The filter inserts recommended by us and suitable for drinking water are so fine that a silver additive for disinfecting the filter is basically not necessary.
