All Alvito filter inserts are very efficient products. The most important difference is the flow rate depending on the tap pressure.

If you value faster water filtration or if more than two people live in your household, we recommend the ABF-Duplex (this corresponds to the ABF-Twin filter insert).

In case of increased lead or copper values in the water, the filter inserts ABF-Primus and ABF-Duplex (this corresponds in design and performance approximately to the Carbonit IFP Puro filter insert) are particularly suitable. The extraordinary filter fineness and the high flow rate of the ABF-Duplex and the ABF-Twin filter inserts are based on the combination of an activated carbon block element with special capillary membranes. In the ABF-Duplex the capillary membranes are located inside the activated carbon block, in the ABF-Twin the capillary membranes are located behind the activated carbon block.

The filter inserts recommended by us and suitable for drinking water are so fine that a silver additive for disinfecting the filter is basically not necessary.
