My Base alkaline-mineral bath salt is ideal for full, sitting and shower baths, foot and hand baths as well as for wraps. Alkaline body care with an optimal pH value of the bath water of approx. pH 8.5.

In the times of Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece and the Romans, body care was alkaline. These cultures used soda, milk or alkaline soap for body care. In the past, even all elderly care was done with liquid soft soap with alkaline values above pH 9.0. In the ancient cultures of Japan and Mexico, even hour-long alkaline baths are traditional and are still practised there today for the benefit of body and soul. MeineBase follows the proven tradition of alkaline body care with a pH value of pH 8.0 - pH 8.5, depending on the initial value and the hardness of the tap water.

Use
A bath temperature of 36° - 38°C is recommended for full baths or 38° - 41° C for foot baths. The bath time should be 30 minutes, ideally 45 - 60 minutes or longer. For a full bath you need 3, for a sitz bath 1 heaped tablespoon. 1 heaped teaspoon each is sufficient for wraps, rinses and foot baths.
MeineBase is also excellent for massage, sauna, steam bath, dental care and alkaline rinses for soothing body care. Alkaline salt scrubs, e.g. after sports, and mild and alkaline baby and child care round off the range of applications.
